The Visitors’ Center

The Home of the Chazon Ish

The Visitors’ Center at the Home of the Chazon Ish was established and built at great expense, in the place where he lived for many years. It offers for the first time a rare glimpse into the life and heritage of the greatest of them all, and the incredible legacy which he left to all generations. It has been built with real thought, using the best architects and engineers, as an unprecedented production, emanating from a desire to preserve the historic flavor, and offer visitors a multisensory experience.

The Center relates the story of the Chazon Ish, from the day of his birth in Kosava, through the chapters of his life, between two world wars, and his many wanderings in Minsk and Vilna until he fulfilled his dream to move to and settle in Eretz Yisrael.

The story of the Chazon Ish’s incredible life, from the day his sun lit up the world with his birth, and followed by his exiling himself to a makom Torah (place of Torah), his great toil and diligence in learning and how he nurtured many disciples throughout his life, until his light shone in Eretz Yisrael with him re-establishing the Torah world after the churban of the Jews of Europe and the passing of Torah giants.
